Enough is enough!
The level of service provided by the suppliers of kitchens can be nothing short of disgraceful. Who else
would ask you for £3000-£6000 of your money in advance, then force you to take a day off work because they
cannot give you a precise delivery time for your kitchen components, then place you at the mercy of a fitting team that
they have virtually no control over?
In short customers deserve a better service, a degree of customer focus that reflects the
magnitude of their purchase, a service that common sense dictates should be demanded not hoped for, courteous
delivery rather than bullish complacency.
Understanding customers.
Homeowners buy kitchens, given the costs involved we can presume these homeowners also have jobs.
Putting it very simply, Kitchen customers are busy people, they care about who is in their home whilst they aren't,
they care about getting value for money, they don't want to waste their lunch hour chasing up a supplier,
they don't want to spend a week hoping that all is going well in their absence.
Understanding kitchens.
A kitchen is the hub of a busy home, kitchen downtime should be kept to a minimum, a kitchen installation project
in an occupied home must be delivered swiftly and with consideration.
At the same time a new kitchen is a real construction project in miniature, a series of material elements,
a design scheme and a host of skills all packed into one room.
Wardrobes, cheese graters and table lamps.
You wouldn't ask a garden centre to fix your computer, yet every day countless people ask a homeware retailer
to install their kitchen. constructa: believes this compromises the level of service
you receive, whilst you are paying "kitchen" money you are receiving "flat-pack bookcase" service.
It doesn't work in theory, it is unacceptable in practice.
